When I started going out as a woman, it made a massive difference in how people perceive me. Night and day. From being perceived as just another annoying straight white guy to being fabulous and loved. It also changed me because I wasn’t written off or hated, so I felt good about myself and could amplify those positive things about me that were already there. How we look and who we are are very much linked.

Now I’m a woman almost all the time, except when I need to show up occasionally to my tech job. In which case being a man is much easier.
