Years ago I discovered many new musicians / bands on Pandora and bought their music with a link that was provided. I haven’t done this much lately, I wonder if something changed.

I’m also wondering if Pandora and / Spotify had / have a high level of profitability? Probably not. That would be an indication if they’re milking the artists. Is it the market that won’t support this model, or some flaw in their ownership structure?
