Yes, definitely, but they should list ALL costs / risks associated with each power source, for example long term risks:

Nuclear
- radiation poisoning due to waste killing people with cancer and other deformaties
- access to weapons grade material (most European closed fuel cycle reactors which extract more energy per grams if U or P) or material that can be used in a dirty bomb

Oil
- giving money to dictators such as Putin

Etc

However this is probably too complicated for most people because it involves tradeoffs / decisions and understanding how to manage various risks. The media rather dumb it down and come up with a simple answer to not bore the average reader, not to mention to satisfy their corporate sponsors
