Yes it goes both ways. And there are “good” and “bad” people on both sides. And both have to compromise. It’s worse for women with the looks, but that doesn’t mean many men don’t go through the same thing. It’s just that we have a clear advantage in the job market.

Personally, I only have sex with men, I have no desire for romance with them. So easy. Thus I have limited experience with men’s behavior on the romantic side. And I don’t think about it much. All I know is they like me MUCH MORE than women do and they treat me much better. I know some of this is just my experience, but there are universal themes as well.
