You gotta wonder how much of this is people on social media getting used to having things their way in the echo chambers. Maybe part of the lesson is a reminder that life is not what you expect it to be, and you can’t have every thing your way.
I understand that a lot of people named their pets or children after Dany…causing an obvious problem with accepting her fate…
I do think as many do that it felt rushed and certain characters and relationships weren’t given enough time for development (eg I wasn’t sure if Dany and John were really in love, and of course Bran sitting around doing nothing but being cerebral and then becoming King was annoying). But the Shakespearian quality of the story (vs a more Hollywood Hero theme) was very welcome, and made me think about what key lessons we can take from the story…and I was happy about that, and the faults of the last two seasons are less important to me.
