You’re trying to apply logic inappropriately - to a situation that has absolutely no logic, other than making money on junk TV. I saw an interview with Tucker est 5 year ago and he said the network has a real time meter that measures audience while on the air. He said whenever he talks about anything of substance, the number of people watching and his ratings CRATER. He said “what am I supposed to do”. It’s obvious he is simply selling junk entertainment, probably partially as a result of his own frustration. Otherwise what is he supposed to do, change careers? This is what people want.

I you already know that, and probably still find it hard to believe he’s getting away with it. And that’s why you want to post, but respectfully—you’re just preaching to the choir.
