Yup, my nephew has $80k from a typical unfocused college education and just graduated with $800 a month student loan payments for 10 years and no job prospects or focus.

And the powers that beat love it…brainwash kids into going to a mediocre expensive university (vs community college) and shackle them with debt so they are stuck in a mediocre job — essentially becoming human AI bots. And if you don’t goto college, you can drive Uber and get thrown in with the pool of recent immigrants driving down the wages until you’re all fired for being human.

All while nobody has time to be an activist to lobby Congress for changes, because we’re all working too hard to survive.

I think I read about this in a sci-fi book years ago.
